If I leave them alone, they all leave before winter? They won't seek to get further into the warm house? I put one of those water based drowning traps 3 feet from the entrance just now.

They are a minor nuisance since my back yard is small and we won't feel comfortable having the kids play out there or on the nearby swingset. I have a low ceiling part of the basement near where the outside nest would be. I went in there with a flashlight but did not hear or see anything. I'm not sure where the dead bees I found laying on the floor came from. About 12 or so.

My main concern is them coming into the house though.
