I have had a bee issue in my apartment for 6 weeks. The landlord has failed to eliminate the bees and has had an exterminator come out. Landlord's report back to me from the exterminator said:
"The entryway to your apartment is through floorboards on deck, near A/C unit. They explained the nest was damaged, by what has been done already by our exterminator, He could tell this by the size of the bees found in your apartment.
The product he used will be stepped on by the larvae bees that have hatched and sent back to the nest.
This nest could be anywhere inside the drywall above or below A.C.
This process will take another four weeks to see no more actual bees.
What has hindered the hatching of the larvae and made this process slower is the fact that the Queen bee picked a bad place to place her nest, due to the cooling of the A/C unit.
This is not a quick process but will be completed and may take 4 weeks.
They won't cut open the drywall, he said you never do that because it could be anywhere,
and the larvae must go back to the nest. This contractor was very knowledgeable, and had the correct fix."
Could you please advise if this is BS? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
