I have had an issue with camelback crickets in my basement. I set out 5-10 sticky traps in various locations and subseuently trapped many crickets large and small. I also found a number of roaches on the traps lately. I do not remove or replace the traps immediately thinking they are still effective in capturing more pests. Recently however 2-3 traps in a specific are now missing the dead crickets and roaches as though something has eaten or removed them from traps. I have several mice/pest poison pellet boxes distributed in the basement and some of the bait is depleted. Do mice or rats eat dead insects? any thoughts if I am dealing with some other rodent?
