Well, chemicals are not the best thing for this, curing the moisture problem is. And I'm not sure of what to use, the manufacturers change names and formulations so often, and I don't really keep up with what is available over the counter.


Best would be to read the label and make sure that your target insect is on the label. It will also list the proper amount to mix for your problem. Use a product you have to MIX, rather than one that is already pre-mixed, like the junk they sell at Home Depot.

But, as I say, it's best not to use any, just keep the basement dry and you won't have the problem.
