It appears our problem is NOT gone...i have discovered a few new moths in the traps, after MONTHS of nothing! I guess with the warm weather, the eggs hatched...so my husband is going to look in the attic (where the majority, 3, of the new ones were trapped) to see if we have any outside critters getting in and storing food. Where would the food be concentrated, if this is the case? Do animals prefer to store it along the edge, closest to the outside of the house, or just anywhere? We THOROUGHLY cleaned out the attic of all stored items, and then I THOROUGHLY cleaned those items by either freezing, tossing or bleaching. And, after that, we waited a while before we placed anything back into the attic. We were fine all winter...until now. I really wanted to cry this morning, when I found those. It is such a pain in the butt to do all this treating. I really do think that they are originating in the attic, at this point. Before, you know, I believe I brought them in from Walmart, in a bag of beans or rice, since the walmart we go to was infested in that aisle. Thank you for your help!
