So it has been 1.5 weeks that I have had a maggot problem so I went out and bought silicone to seal the cracks between the floor and floorboards. This has really helped, instead of finding 100's I find a few here and there. It has finally gotten hotter now (high 80's), what is the connection between temperature and a maggot becoming a fly? Also, am I always going to have a maggot problem or once they become flies will this problem be solved. An expert came to the studio and covered all the entrances to the attic that the mice/rats were using as well as the whole in the wall where the mouse died. He placed bait boxes away from the property on the outside but none in the attic. I dont know if I should look into getting another place or if this is only a temporary situation that will go away in a few more weeks?
