Take a cardboard box, turn it upside down and cut a mouse sized hole in it. On the inside, set a trap (you really don't need to bait it) up perpendicular against the wall of the box so it snaps him when he follows the sides of the box.

Mice like to explore, you can do this with a couple of boxes, you can also set a trap on the OUTSIDE of the box too. Make it like a minefield. Move the boxes around every night. You'll get him!
