Hey Tym, DEFINITELY a long time. How you doin'? I mean, except for the bugs....
As far as your "issues" go, not much (really!) to worry about. The stink bugs are harmless. They come inside in the fall and often come out in the wintertime inside. Kinda like box elder bugs. Both of them are just a pain - and harmless. And that's what I do, either vacuum them up or usher them outside or down the toilet. We see a few here, although I don't think yet this year.
The YJ are just the ones looking for a home and blunder inside. Best thing is to wait until they collect on a window and just crush them with a block of wood or a rolled up newspaper. Forget the sprays, they're greasy and often don't kill right away.
The one that was lurking on your covers is odd, but I guess anything can happen. You would have to seal every crack on the outside and you STILL wouldn't get all of them. The older your house is the more cracks you will have. Kinda like wrinkles. lol
Don't stay away so long!
