They'll wreck your garden and lawn. And don't EVER allow them to dig around your foundation.

Jan, as long as they aren't digging along the foundation, you can probably do it yourself. At the garden store, pick up a product called the "Giant Killer" - they look like a large firecracker. Find the burrows, light the fuse on the GK, toss it into the burrow and cover the hole with a couple of shovelfuls of dirt, to keep the fumes in. It kills them right in the burrow.

DO NOT use this product in a burrow that is dug next to your house, there is a definite danger the fumes will enter the house.

Let me know how it works out!
