These are turf pest, we see them a lot when people fertilize their lawns.

You can use a granular, make sure it has the pest on the label and follow the directions. Best to do it before night fall, for some reason many insecticides work better at night. In the daytime they lose potency.

Sweep th granular into the cracks of the brick. Only buy as much as you'll use this season. it has a shelf life.
