Well, I don't know what your deck looks like, but the easiest way, probably, would be to screen off under the deck.

As far as the carpet beetles are concerned, this is always best done by a pro. I tell my people, if they have the problem, that I want to come, every month, for at least 6 months.

You can TRY yourself, but the pros use a combination of chems. For you, the aerosol "Alpine" would be what you use. But if it's SERIOUS, you WILL need the help of a pro.
