Hi, John
I had couple Bird nests under the deck that I was trying to remove but once I called wild life I was informed that I have to wait for chiks to fly away and then I can remove empty nest. I did specify that I had sparrows.
So today I had somebody coming to remove the empty nest and informed me that I can remove sparrows any time I didn't have to wait for chiks to be able to fly.
I was very dissapointed because that I could have get rid off them long time ago instead I waited out since my main concern is bird mites.
Could you tell me how dangerous are bird mites infestation and can they really get on human. I did read some info saying they do not stay long because the need bird blood but I read also that some people suffered for years and were not been able to get rid off them.
Will it be very easy for mites to get in the house from deck ?
If there is infestation how does ur company normally deals with them since they so tiny and can't easily be seen .
I am trying to hire this guys to block underneath of the deck with some pt wood and some netting the quote was $ 750 .
I found that expensive I also end up paying $150 to remove one nest under 8 feet tall deck easy accessible just climb on ladder ang get it and other nest just fell a weeek ago and just needed to get picked up .
I know it was such of waste of money but I was really afraid that those bird mites could get on me.
Please advise how I should be dealing with future nests under deck or mites .
I really appriciate ur help !
