Yeah I know my husband wanted to do it himself but I thought it needed to be done by professionals so I wouldn't let him.
I felt bad paying $150 even worse $600 to put some net and pt wood to block the underneath the deck which is pretty small about 10x14 and he is not even netting whole thing since only half area need to be covered.
He said sparrows built nest few times a year not once ,
In your long years of experience have you ever had a call regarding bird mites infestation in the house ?
My neighbor has bird nest right by the front door on the corner she saying she is not bothered by them and doesn't remove empty nest either.
She is not concerned about bird mites at all.
I was on this website birdmites.org it made really uneasy and started to panic because I worry they will gain access to house and I will be itchy forever even supposedly they don't survive long without the bird host.

Thanks,
