Everything I have googled about springtails is giving me nightmares! Like this board, I find people with springtails problems but never hear if they actually have solved it. I've been dealing with them off and on for years but typically just a few in the bathroom. Now I have thousands all over my deck after removing a silver maple infested with carpenter ants. I've made sure to bleach anything with mildew (such as my old aluminum frame windows) but I really don't know what else to do. We are going to tear out
Out deck but I'm beginning to wonder if we have this problem because we took out our tree and now out backyard gets full sunlight most of the day. Before it was always shady and damp. So please tell, has anyone actually resolved their springtails issues? Is there light at the end of the tunnel?
