First of all, they are absolutely harmless. Secondly, bleach will do nothing but kill what's there. More will come as soon as the bleach dries. And it's bad for paint.

Don't worry about it, it's a springtime thing (late maybe?) and they'll go away anyway. And they won't reproduce inside, they're a turf insect. Removing the deck will have no effect. The open sunlight may help things, however.

And CAs are in EVERY tree - they go together like love and marriage. Don't worry about either. When you have a problem, you'll see HUNDREDS inside, all the time, winter AND summer.
