DE really isn't that good of an insecticide. Yeah, it does kill insects, but I think it would be a poor choice in this instance.

Depending on how much (many) boxes you have, a Prozap strip is a better choice, one in each box. Put it on TOP, the vapors that kill are heavier than air. It will take a week or two, just to be sure.

You can get them at Amazon or DoYourOwnPestControl.com. There are several "models," check the labels and get the ones that fit your box sizes. The vapors are toxic, so store them in a place that people aren't in - your garage or possibly your basement.
