I believe a bird or other animal got into the vent hood from my apartment's roof that connects to the top of my stove top microwave. Had lots of flies the last two days and figured out about the dead animal. Building landlord can't get someone out til tomorrow (so that is 2.5 days). Then I started seeing the worms/maggots. I have covered the whole area with saran wrap and tape to keep the flies, worms, etc in and not getting into my kitchen. It's gross and they are breeding like crazy cuz it is hot So. Cal weather. Should there be something different I do while I wait for the removal? Do exterminators usually remove the stove and microwave to make sure they get everything removed? Thanks
