Not sure what you're using for trapping, but have you considered glue boards? Cheap and effective. Just put a couple around, right where you see them. Mice are territorial, they visit their territory almost every day. Put the GBs up against something, remember that they like to run where they can feel their whiskers brushing. They really can't see that well, although they do detect any movement in their sight range.

If you use traps of any sort, follow the same rules, Mickey does! And on a house as old as yours, make a trip around the outside and see if you can see where they might have gotten it and plug it. Very important.
