Hello John,

Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated! One guy I talked to was driving a garbage truck until he "took a course and started killng bugs".

For my problem, if it is one. I inherited my parent's house after my Mom passed. The house is roughly thirty years old, and they bought it from the ones who built it. There's a lot of carpeting throughout, which is original. There's also a lot of clutter, as both were pack rats - books, magazines, clothes, etc in boxes or stacks. I've been trying to go through it, but it is taking time.

I've noticed really small black beetles mostly in the master bedroom, but also in the living room. I think they're carpet beetles. Not a huge amount, maybe four or five. But whenever I visited, I'd see a couple. I've been vacuuming every day throughout the house, at least the parts I can reach around the clutter. I haven't been able to check their clothes closet for them because of the stuff, so don't know if they're in there yet. I did put the mattress and bix spring into those allergy mattress bags, just in case.

I 'd like to take care of it without chemicals since I have a special needs dog, and I also babysit my niece and nephew, and they're constantly crawling around on the floor and furniture, and their hands are always in their mouth.

Sorry for the long post. Should I worry?

Thanks, Julie
