Hmmmm. I think your landscaper may have mis-identified the problem... In any case, treatment for grubs is not going to take care of them anyway.

I suggest you Google "the difference between voles, moles and mice" and go through those choices and maybe you can determine, for sure, what you have and act accordingly. The "treatment" for all of them are different, so the best way to proceed would be to actually ID exactly what you have.

And yes, they can pretty much ruin the looks of a lawn.
