Thank you for a quick response. No, that door frame does not get wet from anything at all. The place where we put the poison is where the pipe from the commode goes into the wall. We took off the metal piece around it that covers the opening and put the poison inside the wall. I am leaving it open for the time being to see if the ants keep appearing or whether I feel like I'm going to have to call a professional exterminator. We put the poison in a couple of weeks ago. Also the tub is behind the wall where the commode is; different rooms so I guess there could be a leak I can't see. Thanks again for the info.
