I sympathise with the writer with his problem of numerous mice. In thatcase I would probably use snap traps too as mice can reproduce so quickly. However, I think that glue traps are exceptionally cruel and should be banned. After all, a mouse is a living creature. If someone treated a dog or cat that way he or she would be arrested for animal abuse. The rodent feels pain and fear too.
I currently have one mouse in the house and I've purchased a humane trap in hopes of catching it and returning it to the wild. I've no desire to kill it and just want to get it out. This is our first mouse in 30+ years of living here so will take steps to mouseproof.
