"Liquid Gentrol through both drains?" You could try... It would probably be the cheapest thing to try. Liquid Gentrol runs about $80-$90 for a small plastic bottle. That's expensive for a chemical we use. But nowadays, most of them are expensive. Don't forget, almost all of the pesticides are made by Big Pharma...
Make sure the drains will drain. Flush them, then dye the water and put in the Gentrol at twice the rate for the first time, then standard rates for future treatments. Don't treat every day, but just short of the time it takes for the dye to disappear or fade. Carry on for 90 days, then wait - and watch.
I would do the sump too.
Get the Gentrol at one of the online suppliers, hell, I bet Amazon has it lol. All the prices will be much the same, check it out. Get back if you can't find it, but I know it's out there!
