The insects you mentioned are not ones that would cause any "welt" or any itching. It is also impossible to tell from a bite or a welt what kind of insect (or spider) contacted you.

Your exterminator is correct. I think you should see a dermatologist or, perhaps, an allergist. This is not anything an exterminator should take care of.
