I have a family of squirrels that are in the eaves of the attic mostly.
I placed two traps with peanut butter as bait near the hatch to the attic which is in the top of a closet,
The attic has about 20" of insulation (R25 on top of R19).
I placed the traps on top of two individual sheets of cardboard, but they are about 15' from where the hole is in the eaves that the squirrels use.
It's been 3 days without a bite.

Tonight, I have put a florescent light in attic, and moved the traps a little closer to the hole.
Will the squirrels be attracted to the light? Will they go on top of the insulation?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
