I finally got him. It's been about 3 weeks since I caught my 7th squirrel, and now, as of yesterday, I have caught 8. I don't know what took this one so long, but he was clearly afraid of the trap. I removed the board it had been resting on and closed one side (he/she was fast enough to bolt out if accidnetally tripped) and put two handfulls of birdseed way in the back.

I came home yesterday in a mild-snow storm and I thought I saw something balled up in there. Sure enough! Bingo! Unfortunately, it's too snowy to repair the roof-vent, so I may have to trap again before Winter is over.

Excellent website. Excellent results. Excellent tips. Excellent job!
