Maybe, but how good of a shot are you? Wanna make a mess? What if you don't get a good hit? How are you going to keep them still in the trap? Eventually you'll mess up your trap if you shoot them in it. A pellet or bullet could ricochet and who knows where it will go?

All that's well and good. I'd love some target practice myself but then again, discharging firearms is not legal in my town. I's have to take the little buggers a long way before I could dispatch them.
