Tough call. I never like letting them get weaned, you might not catch all of them and then you'll probably have to contend with them next year, when they come back "home."
But if you catch and dispense with mom, you'll have to deal with the pups. If you leave them, they'll die for sure. In a garage, if you can't get to them, they will smell for a couple of weeks, so if your garage is detached from the house, you might consider it. If it's attached, it's your call....
If you work it right, you can almost TRAIN mom to go in the trap, she'll teach the pups the same. That would make it easy.
