Well I'm doing okay so far. I've caught 3 in 3 days (tied for my personal best). I was going for the, what I was about to call, the "QUADROUPLE BYPASS" 4in-a-row, but Tuesday was not fruitful in the capturing game. I did see one hanging around my yard yesterday, so I will continue to leave it out.
Yes, attics are brutal in the summer. I went up there in May just to put the insulation back after my first squirrel experience was over and before I started using my central air. But I think the things I need to do (and not necessarily in this order, but it makes the most sense in my mind):
1. Remove/Trim trees near my house
2. Clean up attic best I can - vacuum/spray
3. Take down gutters and repair soffits/flashing
5. New gutters
We'll see how that works (I'd expect the timeline to be in the vacinity of at least 1 year).
But the count is up to 18 squirrels.
