Well, they're taking the bait, so they're not ignoring you. But I don't think you should admit they're outsmarting you....

Enclose the trap with a couple of cinder blocks. Also go thru my squirrel pages (above) read everything, including the popups, and you'll find all the answers are there, including this one. Click on the pictures too, they often have notations of their own.
