I have noticed that when a squirrel is not set free imidiatley after capture and is left in the havahart traping system for a period of time, the squirrels will try over and over again to try to escape by pushing their face through the holes in the trap leaving sores on certain areas of their face where hair/fur is removed.

Has anyone else experienced this with their trapped squirrels...?
