Nitrogen gas is probably the least painful death imaginable. But keep in mind, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do this activity in a well ventilated area (garage door open, windows open, circulation) - outside is obviously best. Last thing you wanna do is take a breath of concentrated N2 gas, you'll be down in seconds.
*I work for an industrial gas company that specializes in oxygen, nitrogen, and argon seperation. We have so many safety regulations it'd make your head spin. We have lost employees to N2 exposure - and it's often undetected by the person and is absolutely fatal*
I think you should continue - but please be safe about it.
