Thanks.

I have the Havahart 1062 Easy Set Two Door Cage Trap for Rabbits, Skunks and Squirrels, 25-1/2 by 8-1/2 by 9, because Home Depot had it. The 1040 looks a little smaller. Will the 1062 work, or do I need to trade it in for the 1040?

The 1062 trap seems to have about 1/2" - 1" 'give' when closed, and I was worried that, once trapped, even a large squirrel could slip out.

I'm using it in 'one door' mode, pointed at the corner of the eve.

I had not chummed, but did put two PB chumballs up there this morning before you replied about light chumming. I'll adjust tonight.

Thanks for your help. I never thought I'd find myself on a squirrel trapping board, but here I am.
