We've found the opening in the garage through which the aggressive little red (fox?) squirrels are probably getting into the house, but we don't want to close it up with the invaders inside, and they seem to have figured out how to take the peanut butter from the Have-a-Heart trap without springing it. (We don't know the trap number; the diameter of the trap openings is about 5 inches, and it has worked in the past.) Any suggestions?
Also, I'm wondering if there's a high frequency noise emitter that would make the space intolerable for them. We can access the space by removing a kitchen ceiling speaker that is connected to our living room CD player.
