I'm back!!! and so are those little $*#!...
I hav'nt had any problems since November when I was able to trap all the attic invaders and seal off my gable vent that they had gained access thru. Now, this morning, I heard what I thought was another one chewing the wood in my attic but i went up there I could see his evil shadow on the outside of the other gable vent on the opposite side of my home. I went outside and sure enough there it was in all its evil glory trying to chew an opening in the wood slats (there is screen mesh on the inside).
I did the only thing I could and threw a rock at him and I almost naled him but of course I did'nt connect. Anyway, my question is, is there anything I can do to slow his progress down for a few days or so? Im setting my trap outside again to try and csatch him and his little friends but, I can not reach that gable vent without an extension ladder. I can borrow one in a few days or so to seal off the outside of the vent as I did on the other side(it was a good bit lower and my brother had left me his scaffolding to use at that time but it wasnt tall enough for this side.
