I like squirrels but can't hunt them where I live. I catch them in Havahart traps and am looking for most humane way to dispatch them. For the smaller traps, I've been able to drown the squirrels. But in larger traps - 32 inches, for example - I don't have a waterproof vessel large enough and don't like trying to shoot them with a pellet gun through the bars, which are pretty closely spaced.

Anybody ever tried hooking the cage up to a car's jumper cables and electrocuting?
