I had a minor squirrel emergency this week - Woke up to Squirrels in the basement right before Snowmageddon 2011 hit. Had to get to work, no time to rent a trap from our local nature reserve or do any research for that matter, just ran to the big box store and grabbed the only trap they had for squirrels. Turned out to be a Havahart 1025.
After looking at your trapping page, I hastily set it up as a 1 door trap, baited it and left it in the basement. After a day of having the bait gone but no squirrel, I took a look at it, and by having one door down, it's mechanism was interfering with the working door's mechanism so it wouldn't close all the way. Bent the mechanism for the closed door up and out of the way with a pair of pliers, and within an hour had both squirrels trapped and taken care of!
Hope this helps anyone else who ran out and got the wrong trap!
