In my limited experience, they're not *easy* to trap. My lot is full of squirrels, and I've only trapped 3 in 4 months. They seem to avoid traps.

In the past, before my attic problem, I've easily trapped a groundhog, birds (not the target), and even a kitten. Thos were easy/next day captures.

I'm sure it depends on many things, and I think my squirrels are too well-fed, but I have a hard time.
