Morning John! I've read thru message board(again) but ,maybe I missed it, how small of an opening can a squirrel get thru? I have had no problems with them getting back into my attic since my original issue last Oct-Nov. And I did manage to close off the other gable vent before they managed to chew an opening. However, yesterday afternoon my 7yr. old informed me that there was a squirrel in tha attic again, I went out and sure enough he was on the inside trying to chew thru the hardware cloth to get out. I opened up the access in my garage and watched him (thru the peephole) jump out.. obviously he had'nt been up there too long 'cause I had not heard the scamper of his little feet above my ceilings and he did'nt hesitate too much to jump out. Anyway, I looked and cannot find a place where he gained entr, there is one narrow opening where my chimney meets the roof line that I can see a small amount of daylight thru.. its always been there and does not appear bigger than it has ever been(as if been chewed upon). I can not get up to this point easily so before I borrow another extension ladder, I thought I'd see if that is even a possiblity.
Thank again for your expertise!
