Posted by I used to like squirrels on 13:02:55 3/25/2011 from 98.20.153.203:

I built a 600sq./ft cabin using pre-fabricated roofing trusses. Rather than installing a conventional ceiling I installed pine t&g boards parallel to the outer tin roof with insulation in between. Like a DOPE I didn't complete the soffits BEFORE I installed the ceiling...Now I have little squirrel speedways 5.5" thick between each roof truss. I've tried closing them out (in?) and they chewed through a soffit board lickity split. I can remove some of the soffit but where is the best location in which to place the trap so I'm catching the "offenders" and not attracting other "outdoor" rodents? HELP!! TIA
