Tough call... You will have to trap and remove him, there's a danger he'll just go back somewhere else if you just exclude him.

Best way, especially if you already have a trap is to trap immediately below where his entrance point is. Leave it out there, disabled so nothing gets trapped. Sprinkle some birdseed around as chum for the birds. Once the birds are creating a commotion, the squirrels will be there too.

Then re-enable the trap and cease using any chum. Keep on truckin' until you get the one you want. Put them all down. Trap every few years when you see the population increase too much.
