Thanks for the input regarding the carpenter ants. I checked the crawl space under the pantry, and it looked clear of ants and other creatures, and again, no fecal material. My big question is that if there is a squirrel hiding in the pantry, wouldn't it, or some signs of it have surfaced by this time? Hell, the last time I had a squirrel in the house, it went crazy trying to get out, and I moved a lot of stuff around, in order to scare it out. I hope it is mice, but I set traps, and no bites, the peanut butter has not been touched. I am confused? What do you think?
