Please tell me more about the pellet gun you are using. I bought a 'piece of crap' German made single shot high powered (joke) pellet gun, and the squirrel I shot just ran away. I know I hit him, because he jumped straight up on impact. Since then, I have not used it because if I do wound one, I don't want it going into my attic and dying. What make and model is your pettet gun?
