I have had some kind of droppings over the past few months accumulating on the ground below my bathroom fan vent, which is high up on the side of my stuccoed house in the Pacific Northwest. They are generally about 1/4 inch in length, cylindrical, and somewhat irregular (ie. not nice and uniform or smooth like, say, a grain of rice). After sweeping them up, they will accumulate again over the next couple days. So I am thinking something is definitely living up there!!....

I finally looked up in the attic today. Everything appears normal from what I can tell. But I didn't crawl around up there - only about 2 feet clearance at roof centerline. There is about 9-12 inches of blown in paper-based insulation throughout the attic, but it does not appear out of place or disturbed at all. No droppings or signs of animal activity up there.

We have not heard any "sounds" at all , and this is right over our master bedroom.

We do have squirrels in the area, but I have never seen mice/rats around at all, nor their droppings. Suggestions??
