Mice, chipmunks, flying squirrels, rats, pack rats, regular squirrels, gremlins even.... You really have to find out WHAT it is before you can attack the problem. You do different things for different things - if you get my drift.

Hard for me to tell what it is, it really depends on the wildlife around your specific area.

It's going to take a bit of detective work.
