I think I got the last squirrel that liked the 4"x8" opening in the fascia board in one part of the attic. I looked over at a small attic and noticed that the new attic fan has 3 pieces of plastic mesh screen not hooked together. I have caught two squirrels in there in the last month. I could close it off put I would think this is an opportunity to trap.

I put those air bubble shipping bags to block the openings lightly and kind of chocked them in the fan blades. Last night I found two had fallen.

So the question is if they are coming through that opening and falling about 5 feet to the attic floor, or clawing along the rafters, should I be putting a large netting stapled to the rafters and a few crushed soda cans along with a baby speaker and if I hear the cans start clanging, I have one trapped in there? Or is there a better idea?

Thanks
