If I seal it off and there is another spot (I'm running out of areas I can access to see) I think I might drive them from sight.

As to sealing it with some in there (I am unsure) rather than going to the traps, would they be just as willing to dig their way out and create a new opening?

I'll be out of town for 5 days and will wire them all open while I'm gone. I'll use something so that if tripped, the closing end does move down an inch so I know if the trap was hit.
