Generally, a healthy, adult squirrel doesn't get "stuck" in a wall. If nothing else, they can probably chew their way out of almost anything.

Squirrels are mammals, so 3 or 4 days without water will make them so weak they can hardly walk. Perhaps your animal is also getting outside?

You will need the help of the landlord. If he refuses, call the health dept on him.
