I am not sure if flying squirrels are protected in Pa. But the ones we have in my house look a Lot like your picture... The count is up to 25 now. We took 11 carcasses from the living room wall where they apparently got stuck. Eventually some climbed over those and chewed thru the dry wall and molding into the living room. Thanks to the info from your site i learned enough to catch 14 more-and, unfortunately still counting. I acquired some copper Stuf-fit to block their entry into the living room and basement-and more permanent repairs to follow-if and when this ends (when we bait them for 1-2 weeks without result as you say on your site). I am hoping that we have blocked their exit/entry to the attic crawl space where thier nest are-forcing them into the house seaking food/water-and that no more new ones can come in(please, pretty please). There maybe more than one type of squirrel in the house but they have certainly chewed and done a lot of damage-to the house as well oou sense of well being. We hope we are coming to an end. Thanks again for responding and helping.
