Yes some of the carcasses may have been there for a long time. Today for the first time since sealing the only entry point we could find there are no squirrels in the traps-so-maybe-just maybe-it's over. Permanent repairs to the chimney entry point will follow(I already had them here to give me an estimate). Tomorrow i will put some chum around in addition to the traps to confirm their absence. I'll post an all clear in a week or 2 (i hope), and thanks again. Oh-i also looked at flying squirrels some more-only the rare northern flying squirrel is endangered i bet these are the common southern variety.
